Bill Callahan (a.k.a. Smog) escreve canções melancólicas, cheias de negrume e despidas de artificios. Os seus primeiros discos foram gravados na insulariedade do quarto, por isso é considerado um dos fundadores do lo-fi, um dos muitos sub-géneros do indie-rock. A sua imaculada imagem de outsider e loser está bem presente neste disco ao qual adicionou ironia em doses generosas de que é exemplo o título do álbum.

Destaco três canções: Justice Aversion; Dress Sexy At My Funeral e Strayed.
